The Railway Museum will be taking a Christmas and winter break from 16 December 2024 up to and including 11 January 2025. The first opening day in the new year is on 12 January 2025.
A small exception to the winter break will be the Christmas Model Railway Days on 28 and 29 December, when the permanent exhibitions in the museum building can be viewed alongside some interesting model railway layouts. However, the vehicle exhibition will remain closed.
On 15 December 2024, but at the latest on the Christmas Model Railway Days, there will also be the last opportunity to collect the ordered Bahnwelt calendars from the Railway Museum. After that, the calendars can only be purchased with the postal dispatch option.
