Unfortunately, we have to cancel the entire programme of the Bahnwelttage on 9, 11 and 12 May 2024 for operational reasons.
Instead, the museum will be open regularly on 9 and 12 May from 10 am to 4 pm. The admission price will be reduced on both days.
The Railway Museum will be taking a Christmas and winter break from 18 December 2023 up to and including 13 January 2024. The first day of opening in the new year is 14 January 2024.
There is one exception between the years: on 28 and 29 December 2023, the Darmstadt-Kranichstein Railway Museum will once again be holding its traditional Christmas Model Railway Days from 10 am to 5 pm. The focus will be on the exhibition and demonstration layouts as well as the museum’s numerous other models and showpieces. However, the vehicle exhibition is closed. Admission is free!
