A very simple method of switching railway vehicles is by means of a forklift truck and a switching device (WRG). The forklift brings the device to the site and places it on the rails. Then the ramps are raised and the truck drives onto the unit. After folding up the ramps and securing the forklift, the WRG is connected to the wagon. The attached loads are pushed, pulled or braked, with the forklift serving as the drive unit. The maximum pushing and pulling capacity is 300 t.
