Last month, the Nördlingen S 3/6 made a “pit stop” on its way through to Bochum for the festivities at the railway world there. On 8 May 2024, the Bochum colleagues made a return visit with steam locomotive 38 2267 to the 3rd Nördlingen Railway Festival. This time too, the colleagues were able to count on our support and were given a tank of fresh water halfway through the journey.

The transfer took place again as part of a freight train service, hauled in proper style by 110 262-3 of Bayernbahn GmbH. This also led to a brief rendezvous with the 141 228-7 from Darmstadt.
