The “Bahnwelttage Lite” took place at the railway museum on the Ascension Day weekend. Operational reasons had made it necessary to limit the scope of the programme, but this did not detract from the quality of the attractions on offer.
Despite the reduced programme and the last-minute press releases to the local press, Father’s Day in particular was well attended on the two opening days of Thursday and Sunday. The hourly guided tours around the engine shed and the carriage works provided visitors with background information on the development of the museum and the vehicle collections. The training signal box with the integrated model railway and the historical model railway were demonstrated throughout the day. Visitors were also able to view the permanent exhibitions of the superstructure collection and uniforms and enjoy coffee, cake and snacks in between.
We thank all our guests for their visit!
