Easter at the railway museum
On Easter Sunday and Monday, 31 March and 1 April 2024, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Easter Bunny will be coming to the Darmstadt-Kranichstein Railway Museum!
In addition to the regular guided tours of the vehicle collection, the exhibitions and demonstration facilities as well as the museum’s numerous other models and showpieces will be open and demonstrated. A small model railway fair organised by the model building group is also planned. Our cafeteria invites you to a cosy get-together in a historical ambience.
Expected programme:
- Guided tours through the vehicle collection
- Model railway of Darmstadt main station from 1846
- Training signal box with locomotive simulator
- Model railway exchange of the MoBaTrain
- Permanent exhibitions open in the museum building: Superstructure, ticket and uniform exhibition, historical Märklin Ferris wheel and more
- Museum cafeteria
- Sale of books and souvenirs

- Adults: € 7.00
- Children (4-14 years): € 3.50
- Families (2 adults + max. 3 children): € 17.50
