Easter at the railway museum
The Easter Bunny is coming to the Darmstadt-Kranichstein Railway Museum!
On Easter Monday, he welcomes guests young and old to the railway museum grounds. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have time on Easter Sunday … Nevertheless, the vehicle collection can be viewed on both Easter days as part of guided tours. Other exhibitions and demonstration facilities will also be open.
As a special highlight on Easter Monday only, visitors can take a ride in the driver’s cab of the historic electric locomotive 141 228-7. The driver will explain the engine’s technology and why the locomotive is nicknamed the “firecracker”.
Refreshments are also available in the museum cafeteria.
