Alle deuren moesten worden uitgevoerd in de historische geklonken constructie. Het ontwerp is gebaseerd op dat van de eerste &#8220;poortgeneratie&#8221;, zoals die tot ca. 1945 in de locomotiefloods aanwezig was. Naast de cultuurhistorische waarde bieden deze poorten het voordeel dat de bovenste helft beglaasd is en er dus meer licht in het interieur valt, ook als de poorten gesloten zijn.<br \/>\nTen slotte werd in de herfst van 2008 het project &#8220;Nieuwbouw van de locloodsdeuren&#8221; gestart in samenwerking met het Ausbildungsverbund Metall (AVM) in R\u00fcsselsheim. De AVM is een sociale instelling zonder winstoogmerk die actief is op het gebied van opleiding, kwalificatie en werkgelegenheid. De nieuwe constructie van de poorten kon worden gerealiseerd als leerproject in het kader van de opleiding tot metaalarbeider.<br \/>\nAls &#8220;prototype&#8221; werd enerzijds de poort aan de achterzijde van de loods tegenover de Steinstra\u00dfe vernieuwd, omdat deze andere afmetingen heeft dan de poorten aan de kant van de draaischijf, en anderzijds kon de eerste ervaring worden opgedaan voor de &#8220;serieproductie&#8221;.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section vervaardigd, maar ook ter plaatse in het spoorwegmuseum ge\u00efnstalleerd.<br \/>\nOngeveer een jaar later, vanaf de zomer 2009, begon de serieproductie van de class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In oktober 2009 waren alle 16 poortvleugels klaar voor de daaropvolgende klinkwerkzaamheden. Hiervoor werd de 5-tons klinkmachine van het museum speciaal naar R\u00fcsselsheim vervoerd. Als workshop in de opleiding werd het onderwerp &#8220;warmklinken&#8221; eerst in theorie voorbereid en vervolgens samen met de werkplaatschef van het museum in de praktijk gedaan. Het werk van de AVM eindigde dus op dit punt. Op dit punt willen wij de stagiairs bedanken die het werk onder leiding van hun trainer, de heer Bauer, hebben uitgevoerd!<br \/>\nDaarna volgden jaren van noeste arbeid om alle 16 vleugels te schilderen, te conserveren en de houten invulling aan te brengen (ca. 64 m2 in dubbele laag). De beglazing van de ramen bleek een uitdaging. Hier was de taak om 768 (!) ruiten afzonderlijk te beglazen met raamkit. Per ruit werd \u00e9\u00e9n kilogram stopverf gebruikt, zodat uiteindelijk in totaal ca. 770 kg stopverf op alle doelen is gebruikt.<br \/>\nEen woord van dank gaat uit naar de volgende bedrijven die ons met materiaal hebben gesteund:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>EGO GmbH voor de donatie van 400 kg plamuur.<\/li>\n<li>Karl Traser GmbH Fensterbau, Arheilgen, voor de donatie van 400 op maat gesneden ruiten.<\/li>\n<li>Schreinerei Pfeiffer, Gro\u00df-Umstadt, voor de donatie van 400 op maat gesneden ruiten.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>De montage van de eerste voorpoort vond plaats op 22 juni 2019. De kort tevoren aangeschafte tweeweggraafmachine was een grote hulp. Opnieuw was het belangrijk om voldoende ervaring op te doen, zodat een effici\u00ebnt montageproces resulteerde voor de verdere poorten. sluitbouten<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Vanwege de beperkte mankracht als gevolg van de prioriteit voor onderhoud en restauratie van de bedrijfswagens, werden de verdere werkzaamheden zodanig gepland dat per Nadat daar zonder toestemming een ruit was losgeraakt en in vrije val op de grond terecht was gekomen (gelukkig zonder lichamelijk letsel), moest hier dringend actie worden ondernomen. Met de Internationale Federatie (IB) kon een andere sociale instelling in Darmstadt worden gewonnen voor de vernieuwing van de ruit. De IB biedt ook kansarme jongeren de mogelijkheid een opleiding tot metaalarbeider te volgen.
