Op dezelfde dag werden de rails en stalen dwarsliggers geleverd. Bovendien werd op regelmatige tijdstippen mineraal beton voor de ballastonderlaag geleverd, dat steeds onmiddellijk moest worden geplaatst wegens de krappe omstandigheden op de van het betreffende spoor. De bouwwerkzaamheden en de bouwlogistiek waren zo effici\u00ebnt georganiseerd dat aan het eind van de werkdag alle dwarsliggers voor het eerste spoor (spoor 9) reeds waren gelegd en de rails konden worden gelegd. elkaar waren gescheiden. Hiervoor werd een booglasproces gebruikt. De lasnaden werden geslepen aan de railkop en aan de binnenkant van de rail, zodat de naden niet meer zichtbaar zijn. Om de kosten voor ons zo laag mogelijk te houden, werd overeengekomen dat wij hulp- en nevenwerkzaamheden (vervoer van materialen, enz.) zouden mogen verrichten.
