When the museum&#8217;s doors close in the evening, they like to meet up with their colleagues in the engine shed and discuss a wide variety of (railway) topics. Representatives of the Museumsbahn e. V. are also regular guests in Alkmaar and always receive a warm welcome.<\/p>\n<p>We also look back fondly on the fantastic restoration of the model of Darmstadt&#8217;s main railway station from 1846 by the Alkmaar team in 2014.
