On 11\/4, our 1st class express train car was rented out for filming. The scene is part of the film “Chaos and Silence”, which is scheduled for release in 2024. Many other scenes have been and will be filmed in Darmstadt. The team had already chosen a suitable car four weeks beforehand. Because of the limited space in the compartment, they chose our Am, since the 1st class compartments are somewhat larger than those in the Bm.<\/p>\n

The scene takes place during a train ride. Since filming in a moving train would have been much more complicated, a “blue box” was built on the outside of the compartment window, so that later an “electronic” train ride can be played in the window at these points. Since the setup reached up to the roof of the car, it had to be moved to a track without overhead wires in the vicinity.<\/p>\n

The film team with a total of about 20 people started in the morning with the setup of the technical equipment and left the area again after 8 hours.
