It is located on the area of the railway depot of the former Darmstadt-Kranichstein switch yard on the &#8220;Rhein-Main-Bahn&#8221;, which runs from Mainz via Darmstadt to Aschaffenburg.<\/p>\n<p>The locomotive exhibition is housed in the historic roundhouse, while the wagon collection is presented in the former freight wagon repair hall, which still serves its purpose as a workshop for the wagon fleet.<\/p>\n<p>The museum also has its own museum line from Darmstadt-Ost to the Bessunger Forsthaus stop. Due to necessary maintenance measures that are currently not feasible, operation on the line is suspended.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
